HONEY TREE ON CONCERT
Creating an explosive trio with Gabriel Équerre on the drums and Lady Jane singing.
The voice of Jane, sincere « and flowing », her smile and her charm have warmed and enchanted the public for years. At present she teaches singing to a select circle of pupils. Three of her former pupils have received major awards in the Victoires de la Musique (including M and Enzo Enzo).
Gabriel Équerre is originally from Reunion island (l’île de la Réunion); composer and multi-instrumentalist (singing, violin, guitar, djembe), he shares with us his world through his music. He delivers it to us with a passionate energy, without forgetting a touch of humour and a great deal of delicacy.

MELIES A L’HONNEUR CHEZ STUDIO CANAL
2008 is the 70th anniversary of the death of Georges Méliès (1867 – 1938), pioneer of French cinema. On this occasion, and for the first time brought together, Studio Canal offers us 30 masterpieces from the visionary film director, with remastered versions for the films made between 1896 and 1912. One of the audio tracks is ascribed to André Dussolier who plays the smooth-talker according to the texts of Georges Méliès. Pierre-Yves Plat took this opportunity to have a musical collaboration with Lawrence Léherissey (great great-grandson of Méliès) on certain short films.
